The vintage 1930s German porcelain figurine pictured holds a pincushion and thimble. This cherub stands at about 5 1/2" Tall. It is hallmarked on the bottom with an incised, "X" There is a hairline crazed looking crack inside the pincushion basket. The fabric and fill for the pincushion is missing. The top of his wing has a hole that I'm sure is original from manufacturing. His second toe has a tiny chip underneath, that is not at all noticeable when displayed. He has a sweet German looking chubby face with rosy cheeks. Looks like he is half leaning sitting on a tree stump. The gold highlights shines nicely with some signs of wear. Does not include thimble.
